GYLON BIO-LOK^TM Gasket.

One gasket for food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other bioprocessing applications.

The GYLON BIO-LOK^TM gasket is a controlled compression modified PTFE gasket for use in hygienic clamp fittings. This gasket is designed for FDA and bioprocessing type applications, is dimensionally stable and will not intrude into the pipe bore. Utilizing Garlock's proprietary GYLON® modified PTFE technology, the GYLON BIO-LOK^TM gasket is compatible with a wide variety of chemicals and processing applications. The gasket is designed to withstand the rigors of clean-in-place (CIP) and sanitize-in-place (SIP) processes.

The GLYON BIO-LOK^TM gasket withstands thermal cycling with temperatures ranging from 41^oF (5^oC) to 356^oF (180^oC) without clamp retightening.

The GYLON modified PTFE material's flange gasket maximum pressure rating exceeds the typical pressures used in hygienic clamp fittings. The maximum pressure is 800 psig!!

The GYLON BIO-LOK^TM gasket is manufactured in various sizes to fit ASME-BPE, DIN32676, ISO 1127, BS 4825, ISO 2852, and SMS compliant hygienic clamp fittings found worldwide.
