RA250 Bell-Shaped Adapter for 2" pipe or smaller is manufactured from specially formulated rubber compound that has been designed to withstand up to 600
o
F tailpipe exhaust temperatures, while maintaining maximum flexibility and durability. This innovative compounding has kept pace with the emergence of high heat-producing catalytic converters and emission control devices.
Crushproof adapters are designed to fit almost any vehicle on the road today. Keep in mind that about a quarter of all vehicles have dual exhaust or a twin exhaust system. Refer to the size chart below to make sure you get the right adapters for your application.
Each adapter will attach to the hose in one of two ways:
A. Screw over the outside of the hose.
B. Screw into the threads of the hose.
Hose Sizes:
2.5" (63mm) Compact Car
- Adapter threads over the hose.
3.5" (89mm) Average Car
- Adapter threads into the hose.
This accessory will not only facilitate the ventilation of exhaust fumes, but will
prolong the life
of the hose.
