Chamberlin Rubber helps out with Habitat for Humanity!
November 28, 2006, Chamberlin Rubber Company sent a crew to take part in the building of a Habitat for Humanity House located in the city of Rochester, NY. The Chamberlin crew was particularly luck to have selected a sunny, 65 degree day, almost unheard of for Rochester.
Upon arrival at the house we were given our task for the day - to hang the siding. We were a small but mighty crew of four, but we had a secret weapon in Sam Pennacchio who has quite a bit of experience with siding. The rest of the crew was able to catch on fairly quickly and by the end of the day we had completed the better part of three sides of the house.
Overall the experience of helping with the Habitat House was very rewarding for everyone involved. Upon returning to the office many of our co-workers expressed interest in joining us “next time”!
